2 DAYS NORTHERN ANDES AND OTAVALO MARKET / HACIENDAS

We take you to small andean villages to see artisan family workshops and to bargain at the Otavalo indigenous market. We include stays at historic haciendas, country inn´s or with indigenous families.

Day 1

Quito – Otavalo:   

North of Quito, visit the small villages of the northern andes and the Otavalo Indian market, the most important in South America.  Optional lunch. Accommodations and dinner at a historical Hacienda or Country Inn.

Day 2

Otavalo – Quito:  

Visit Cuicocha a volcanic crater lake and small indigenous villages. Optional lunch, return to Quito.BDuration: two days one night.
Activity Level: Easy.
Recommendations: bargain for your shopping; you will enjoy it. Watch your belongings in crowded places!
